Thank you for registering for the THREAD/NFL FLAG SUPER BOWL LVIII FLAG FOOTBALL GAME. Once we review your application we will be in touch to confirm your roster spot. Please be sure to register for the THREAD Pre-Game Luncheon at Flanker 2/8/24 at 11:00 to 1:30 pm. All Flag Players will be escorted to the NFL Experience Field from Flankers.
This year we are launching a 6 week social media campaign highlighting NFL couples preparing for the game! Below are suggestions to incorporate into your own conditioning routine and please join the fun and post your reels and share to @nflflag @nflthread @nfl @legends.
Conditioning suggestions: Post throughout the weeks of 1/8 1/15 1/22
Static Hamstring stretch
Static Quad stretch
Static Calf stretch
Forward fold to toes/ ankles
Jogging 50 % long distances
Running 75% Mid-range distances
Sprinting 100% Short distances
Work drills progression at your pace increasing speed after each rep/s ½ speed, ¾, to full speed - post the weeks of 1/22 1/29 2/5.
A-Skip 5-yards to burst and finish @ distance 5-10 additional yards. (Repeat thru progression)
Shuffle 5-yards, open hips to burst and finish @ distance 5-10 additional yards. (Repeat thru progression)
Back pedal 5-yards and return to start point. (Repeat thru progression) Backpedal 10-yards/ (Repeat thru progression)
